Here are some frequently asked questions by first time carpet & rug buyers and online visitors. Please have a look.
1. Are all the carpets listed on your website handmade?
Ans: Yes, all the carpets and rugs we sell are completely handmade.
2. How to know whether a carpet is handmade or not?
Ans: Looking at the carpet you can tell whether it's handmade or not. If the rugs pile is made from polyester, olefin, nylon, polypropylene, or any other synthetic fibres then the rug is a machine made rug, most handmade rugs have natural wool/silk piles. Also, most machine made rugs are perfect without any flaws however a handmade rug will usually have some flaws or a difference in patterns.
3. How can I buy a handmade rug, should I buy one from E-bay or Craiglists?
Ans: The best approach to buying a handmade rug is to go to your local carpet dealers or find a reputable online store like oursleves. Buying from a recognized carpet dealer you can rest assured you'll get the real deal and won't be scammed. Also, most dealers will allow you to exchange your rug in the future if you ever decide to replace you handmade carpet. However, always be sure to do some homework before you go out and buy a carpet. E-bay or Craigslist might have really cheap rugs, however, you can never be sure of their origin, their authenticity and their history.
4. What sort of rug should I buy?

5. What does 2' x 3', 4' x 6' mean?
Ans: That's the measurements of the carpet you are looking at. Usually the first number is the width while the second number is the length. So a rug which is 2' x 3' is 2 feet wide and 3 feet long. We use feet as the standard unit here.
6. What if I am not satisfied with my rug?
Ans: There is no need to worry! If you don't like your carpet, you can always contact us for an exchange. You can come to our store in Sai Kung and pick a carpet of the same price as yours or choose something a little more expensive and pay the difference. Remember, we don't do refunds.
